Your Rate Plan Is How You Are Billed for the Energy You Use
As an SCE customer, you are billed for energy based on your rate plan. We offer a wide variety of rate plans that are designed to find the right fit for your householdâs lifestyle. Along with a more traditional Tiered rate plan, in which customers pay a single rate for a âbaselineâ amount of energy each month, we offer Time-Of-Use (TOU) rate plans that feature different rates based on the time of day. There are also other rate plans available for customers who own electric vehicles or want to support the environment.
How do I find out what my rate plan is?
To learn what rate plan youâre currently on, you can log into My Account or review your current bill. On My Account, you can find it under the âService Accountâ section on the left side.
On your bill, you can find your rate plan under the âDetails of your new chargesâ section.
How do I know if Iâm on the right rate plan?
Our Rate Plan Comparison Tool can help you identify the best plan for you based on your typical usage. Youâll be able view side-by-side cost estimates for other rate plans based on your past usage data. Please note that you will need at least 8 months of energy usage, including 2 months of summer usage, in order to use the tool.
